Bid evaluation. Bids shall be evaluated on the basis of price per gallon of use-dilution of solution.
This is calculated as follows:
Price per gallon of use-dilution solution = |
A x B |
|
C |
Where: A = bid price per container of general purpose detergent;
B = number of ounces of general purpose detergent needed to make one gallon of use-dilution solution for general purpose cleaning at stated on the prosuct label. This dilution must be the same one used in the “Cleaning Efficiency” performance test above; and
C = the number of ounces of general purpose detergent per container.
Biiders shall state in their bids the price per container of general purpose detergent, the number of ounces of general purpose detergent needed to make one gallon of use-dilution solution for general purpose cleaning (by hand, not by automatic scrubbing machine) as stated on the label, and the price per gallon of use dilution solution as calculated above.
